Bukit Tinggi is close to home for us. Our showroom used to be in Bandar Bukit Tinggi, and we have designed and built homes here for years, from double-storey terraces to semi-Ds. Every photo on this page comes from one of those houses.

Bandar Bukit Tinggi is the large WCT township on the south side of Klang, begun in the late 1990s and grown into Bukit Tinggi 1, Bukit Tinggi 2 and Klang Parklands, with AEON Bukit Tinggi at its centre. Since June 2026 it also has its own LRT station on the Shah Alam Line. Most streets are terraces and semi-Ds, and many of the first houses are now more than twenty years old, ready for a proper renewal.

A modern terrace with a garden of line art

A recent terrace in white marble-look tiles and warm timber. In the dining area a hand-drawn leaf pattern runs across a whole wall; the kitchen has black marble counters with built-in ovens and coffee station, and the wet kitchen sits behind a fluted-glass sliding door. A classic terrace from our early years

What we have learned designing in Bukit Tinggi

• Bring light into the middle of a terrace. Bukit Tinggi terraces are long and narrow, so the dining area in the middle is often the darkest place. Light colours, glass instead of walls and a lit feature wall make it the heart of the house.
• Older houses come before decoration. In the first phases, houses now past twenty usually need its wiring, plumbing and waterproofing checked before new finishes go on. We check at the site visit and tell you honestly.
• Every family prays differently. Bukit Tinggi is home to Chinese, Indian and Malay families. We have designed altar cabinets in the living room, a separate prayer room and quiet corners for daily prayer, each planned for its direction, lighting and storage.
• Storage is the real luxury. In a terrace every metre counts: full-height wardrobes, a shoe cabinet at the door and a proper store under the stairs keep the house calm.
• Know what needs approval. Bukit Tinggi is under Klang's city council (MBDK). Changes that add floor area or touch the structure need its approval before work starts; interior carpentry and finishes usually do not. We can help you submit the application.

One team from first sketch to handover

We are a design and build company. The designer who measures your house is part of the same team that prices it, builds it and hands over the keys, so a drawing never gets "lost in translation" between a designer and a separate contractor.

1. Site visit and measuring. We walk the house with you, room by room, and listen to how your family actually lives.
2. Layout and 3D design. You walk through every room in 3D before the first wall is touched, and we adjust it until it feels right.
3. Quotation. One quotation for design, carpentry and building work.
4. Construction and carpentry. Our project manager runs the site and keeps you updated.
5. Handover. We check every room with you before we hand back the keys.

Our terrace is more than twenty years old. Where do we start?

With a site visit. We check the wiring, plumbing, roof and wet areas first, then plan the design, so the new interior is not built on old problems.

Can you design around our altar or prayer room?

Yes. We plan its position, lighting, ventilation and storage with you at the very start, not as an afterthought.

Can we stay in the house during the renovation?

For a small scope, sometimes. For a full renovation we recommend moving out, for safety and to finish sooner. At the site visit we'll advise which suits your plan.

How long does a terrace renovation take?

It depends on the size and scope of the work. Rewiring, ceilings and carpentry usually take about three months or a little more. With an extension, new floor tiles, rewiring, ceilings, carpentry and plumbing, plan for about four to eight months. The time can change when the design is changed or items are added during the work.
